New Column on Bloggers
Michael Silence has a new column in the print version of the Knoxville News Sentinel about bloggers and blogging. I wonder if people want to read about bloggers? It will be interesting to find out--seems like the material would be endless--but would it be interesting? I am sure Michael will find a way to make it so.

I predict low interest in this column. Non-bloggers are not particularly interested in bloggers, with the possible exception of non-blogging parents who have a blogging child. And bloggers would rather just rant.

I found it kind of odd that he mentioned Dr. Helen, said "more about her in a minute", and then... [crickets chirping]
Ed, I noticed that also. The first time I heard about blogs was in a textbook for an internet marketing class. I think this was back in 2005 and they mentioned Instapundit. I also remember reading a newspaper article about how to be a successful blogger and they mentioned LaShawn Barber. I'm sure there are still people left who would enjoy reading blogs if they knew more about them. If they aren't into politics, there are plenty of other topics.
