I certainly agree with Nolte about Letterman, who's riding it for all it's worth.
But Leno's current thing must be part of his contract that is still in effect. If I had the money he's earned and the car collection and shop facilities he has, I'd be under the hood of something, covered head to toe in grease, having the time of my life. I'd just be doing it with wood instead of cars. Maybe I'm nuts, but the only reason for working that I can see is making it so that some day, you won't have to anymore.

Nolte shouldn't be too hard on the coastal critics of NY & LA. They only say those things so they can get invited to the right parties.
