And I'm now reminded of the joke of how to count to 10 if you're the government.
Who cares how much the super rich make? Good for them, I hope they use the money well. The wage histograms that the socialists get all upset about has a fixed bottom at $0 and no upper limit so of course it will be skewed. It is further skewed by the government subsidizing poverty. Stuff like the article are just commie class warfear (originally a typo but I like it.)

TMink, are you familiar with the origins of the Alternative Minimum Tax? Decades ago, when it was learned that a handful of millionares using legal deductions paid no income tax, the AMT was born. Being the idiots they are, Congress didn't index the AMT for inflation so now it hits millions of middle class taxpayers instead of a handful of rich people. For that matter, back in 1913 when they were passing the 16th Amendmend for the income tax, it was sold as a "tax on the rich." For the first couple years, only the top wage earners in the country paid any income tax. That didn't last long, now did it?
Let that be a warning - any time you hear liberals talk about taxing the rich, hold on to your wallet. Very soon, you're going to find that somehow, you're one of the rich.
"Rich" inevitably means, "Someone I perceive to have more than I do." A key tip-off: If the word "fair" is used, you know the user's moral development and intellect haven't progressed beyond kindergarten.
What a shock that neither the Social Security Administration nor the op-ed page fairies at the NY Times can understand or interpret data. The Times has descended into total irrelevancy. Doubt me? They made their theatre critic their pundit-in-chief. Although, to give them their due, the theatre is probably the most important single subject in New York City. We backward simpletons in "floyovah" are preoccupied with designing and building things, running businesses, and other such mundane and unimportant vocations.
Good points guys. I am constantly working with my kids to help them understand that fair applies to opportunity, not outcome. Al Sharpton never got that message.
