Amy Alkon is an idiot. Hey helen- why don't you tell us all about your husbands? Yea- the one's who bust their asses who earn the money for the mortgages & pay the taxes so you & your squirrly friend can stay home all day and make goofy videos?

Probably not going to be getting that article or video anytime soon. Yea, that would definately punch a hole in your little bubble illusion of 'independence.'

So you had a heart attack? Because of your business? You're not even that old- I bet I'm older than you are- not by much - but still.

Sounds like you really got into a bind.. maybe it isn't that great to be that ambitious after all. You are a case study in why maybe it's not a good idea to start your own business. Your story stuck in my head. That's why I keep coming back to your blog.

@ Mark Hays:

Did you even watch the last two video's that our host here has made with Amy Alkon?

If you had, you'd have probably noticed that Amy Alkon is one of the most pro-man women out their. She brings up issue such as paternity fraud, and points out that such injustices affect men alone.

In all that I've seen, she is at least "fair and balanced", and, at times, is even slanted towards the interests of men.

Although I've only recently started posting here, I've read both of these women's blogs for some time now. Those of us who have bothered to give them a fair reading, with out minds open, will realize that these are two women who are definitely the allies of men against the injustices that target men.

Hell even the main proponents of MGTOW have taken much less of a public stand against the shams of feminism and the (Anti-)Family Courts.

Dr. Helen is gracious enough to allow you to rant against her in the most unflattering of ways.

But I say, "Cheers to her", and "Cheers to Amy Alkon"! We need more women like them.

Hell we need more PEOPLE like them, period!

Mark Hays - "We're all supposed to be GRATEFUL that these women recognize how horrible the legal system is treating us?"Well,

I'm happy to say that, Yes, I am grateful for two such honest and insightful women.

Since I gather that you don't actually read Amy Alkon's blog, I'd like to quote for you something she posted recently regarding her view of women who make false rape claims against men:

"... those who bring false accusations of rape should get the jail time the falsely accused would have gotten."Now, I guess that you'd fully agree with that position?

Is the problem you have with her simply that she was born with a vagina rather than a penis? She say's the exact same thing that only a few men dare to say about an injustice targeted towards men; and you choose to scoff at her and call her a clown?

Frankly, I think most men who care about men's rights would think very highly of Amy Alkon, as they would of Dr. Helen Smith as well. We men need all the allies we can get, not more enemies.

But, if you prefer to continue with what you've been saying; well then, I certainly respect your right to do so. You and I will just have to disagree about the women in question.

I know you're all confused & completely whacked out. Too much TV and PC schoolling- here's a good place to start getting you head on straight
http://www.iwf.org/

Women weren't meant to be like men. Women are women & men are men.

Blogger slwerner said...

Mark Hays - "the fact is they are still 21st Century WOMEN and they are going to take you straight to Hell."Mark,

If you don't mind my asking, just how did you arrive at this great angst against those of the opposite gender?

Here's a link to a story about a women, a rather beautiful women, who had unprotected sex with men, not telling them that she was infected with HIV. At least one of the men has now been found to have become infected by her. (http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/entertainment_news/article6092258.ece)

Now, I can see how a man in that guy's position might now have such a slant on women. One could easily agree that he had good reason.

Yet, if I had to guess, he holds just one women responsible. He undoubtedly recognizes that not ALL WOMEN are responsible for the actions of one.

Perhaps the biggest obstacle to men being treated fairly is that feminists and manginas have been effective at creating the notion that ALL MEN are responsible for the bad acts of a very few.

I'm one who holds that "two wrongs do not make a right". Thus, I'd prefer that men do not take the same low-road.

Well, what do you know?

Mark Hays - "the 'Advice Goddess' presents herself as A WHORE. Do you need glasses? Take a good long look at her."Okay, I've got them on - but I'm just not seeing it. In the video(s) she modestly, yet quite femininely dressed. On her site, she's posted pictures of herself in less modest attire, which reveal that she is quite a shapely women, with, shall we say, absolutely no need for any "augmentation".

As to what I know of her personal life - she's been faithfully in a long-term committed relationship with a man who she does not with to "hook" in marriage. She does not even live with him (there's one guy who's never getting taken to the cleaners).

She honest about herself in terms of relationships, which I can greatly respect.

But the "presents herself as A WHORE" thing? Well, I just don't see it.

Mark Hays,

I draw the line at you insulting my guests. There is no need for that. For some reason, you want me to get angry and throw you off of this comment board. I am not angry, just puzzled as to why you behave this way and wonder what you have to gain from it. But, whatever the reason, please refrain from the name calling and ugly comments. They are unnecessary here.

I am a man & life for us is a living HELL- you prob think that's pretty damn funny don't you? Well guess what? What goes around comes around- uh uh Remember CPS?

Oh yes, they are just waiting to make your world a circus. Got kids? Better hope they don't have any 'accidents' - broken arms or or legs? Yes, they will take your children away forever and there is nothing you can do about it.

Guess the Nanny State didn't have you in mind did it?

Well, Mark Hays, I'm back from the state capitol.

I went charging right down there, like you said.

Only thing is that, you sort of forgot to tell me what to do once I got there.

So, there I was, standing in the rotunda, thinking to my self, "What would Mark do?"

After a while, one of the guards walked over towards me and asked, "Can I help you?"

That's when it hit, it was like a light bulb went on in my head. Suddenly everything was so clear.

I shouted, "All women are SLUTS and WHORES", told him "F%@& Himself", and ran out of the building.

I feel great at having accomplished so much.

I can see the headlines in tomorrows Denver Post now, "Mysterious Prophet Shames Lawmakers; All Anti-Male Laws To Be Revoked Immediately".

Who knew that just a little bit of cussing and ranting could ever accomplish so much.

And to think, I've wasted so much time and effort trying to persuade others of the need for true justice that acknowledged the rights of men.

It turns out all I needed was act like an ass and everyone would be convinced.

Well, I'm off to pat myself on the back and enjoy a few...

Sad_Dad - "...and also I think their very nice looking too."They are fine ladies, in deed, in every sense.

But you know...

Given Mark Hays stuff about "presenting as whores", I think it would be a hoot if for their next video, they were to wear 6-in red pumps, fishnet stockings, tight little short-shorts and bikini tops, along with copious amounts of ruby-red lipstick.

You suppose there's any chance they might consider it:)

Mark, I have often wondered why there is this flood of money from men to women - and why men working towards heart attacks say their sit-at-home pig works just as hard as them - but no women and no men will acknowledge it.

It has always been a mystery to me. But I've found that I have lowered my blood pressure when I just play along. I just nod my head now when the plain evidence in front of my eyes contradicts what almost every man and woman tells me. It's almost unreal.

That's just a perk that women get, as far as I can determine, and no one is allowed to even mention it. So just join in.

How boring these blogs would be if everybody agreed about everything. I surely wouldn't bother reading and commenting.

I like being exposed to thoughts other than mine b/c I may change my views presented with new data, or I may consider my views and decide I was correct in the first place, and now am a little more confident that I'm right. But it is necessary to disagree courteously for a true exchange of ideas. Sometimes I see people lump together everyone who disagrees with them. Sometimes it's "you think X so you must thing Y,Z, and Q"; or "you are a woman/man so you are a left-wing fluffbrain/rightwing jackbooted thug until you prove to me that you are not". Sometimes it's "you disagree with me so you are stupid and/or a bad person". Or a bunch of bullying insults to wear the other person down, like that means the argument is won.

But if people want to use a blog such as this to kind of rant and rave instead of really discussing issues that's cool, as long as the blog host/hostess doesn't mind. There are a million blogs out there, surely something for everybody.
