Stuart Schneiderman: Some thoughts on courage.

Final thoughts on this: there are times to display courage in today's risk-averse society (if that's what you want to call it) but they are few and far between.

The line between courage and martyrdom is thin and must not be crossed. Unfortunately, no good deed goes unpunished today so think verrrry carefully before you do something risky. Don't throw away your career or your liberty to make a point about "doing the right thing" in spite of the consequences.

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a radical act."

If you want to be courageous because of your own personal standards, fine.

If you are being influenced by the shaming tactics of some woman, or women in general, you are stupid.

(Frankly, that goes for everything that *some* women try to shame men into: "providing" for them while they sit home, "protecting" them after they started the problem with their big mouth and all the rest)
