Dr. Kevin Pho is a hero to health and medical bloggers everywhere, because his blog, Kevin, M.D., has done so much to increase interest in our little corner of the blogosphere. Kevin offers a candid view of problems in the U.S. healthcare system from a doctor’s perspective — and unlike many medical bloggers who are rightly fearful of employer reprimand or legal reprisals, he is able to put his name and face by his opinions.

ReplyDeleteJust got back from the ER with a kid today. Was the doc being honest with me or was he just protecting himself by advising me to go get some expensive procedures. "I don't think there is anything wrong, but just in case...go get a follow up with expensive office visit" were almost his exact words.
Dr. Bob, at docisinblog.com, blogs on a wide variety of subjects, but has a number of lengthy and well-written posts on some of the problems in medical care, including dealings with insurers.
