in transactional terms, the righteous indignation is the nostril-flaring of the inner tyrant, or "pig-parent".
my step-son`s old girlfreind was (is) one of those do-good hippy types with the vegitarian complexion and dred-locks (that smell awful, by the way). she travels around the world on grant money from different organisations and interferes with local cultures with environmental jingoism and demonstrations.
she is head of action committees and anti-government organisations and when i met her last year she was going to the g-20 rant in toronto, only to be "kettled" along with hundreds of other "innocents" and had to have her dad bail her out of prison.
I feel for you, dr. alistair. My daughter is in her 8th year of college herself. I have lost her to the left. We can't even talk much these days unless the conversation is very controlled and narrow in scope.
I am hoping the once she acquires her PhD and has to work for a living, she will return to reality.
Andrew Breitbart is a strong, conservative voice that we've been in need of for some time. He quickly gets to the heart of the issues, and his passion for exposing hypocrisy in the media must be commended. Keep it up!

Lots of women get a "designer degree" - meaning they get a good-sounding degree, stick their toe in the water, and then call themselves whatever while a husband really supports them. She can then say "I'm a marine biologist" or "I'm a physician" or whatever and get the best of both worlds, people thinking she actually works at that and a free ride in life.
So don't bet the farm on her hitting reality any time soon. And I REALLY hope that you're not paying for her to dibble around in school. She can get student loans and then make her future husband pay them off.
So far my daughter doesn't seem to be that way. As her dad, and as the one who raised her, she saw what it took to put bread on the table. She saw what I went through as a single dad raising three kids. As many who did similarly, I have a million stories I could tell. A white male makes it on his own in this country, or he resides underneath an interstate bridge or in a washing machine box in an alley. Or joins a union.

I really like Breitbart, by the way.

Lots of women stick their big toe into the "real life" pool, but the rely on husbands to do the "heavy lifting".
Look around. I have. I mean really take a look.
I see it all the time. Of my three sisters, one is hard core progressive and feminist. Guess which one of the three rode her husband's coattails.
