One of the most horrific crimes I've read about. The level of brutality... gang-rape, torture, and murder - just sickening.

And I agree with those who've brought up the double-standard in reporting. Had the young couple been black, and the vicious gang of perpetrators white, then there would've been a great deal more coverage of the story with accompanying commentary on the 'race factor'.
The media has long been dominated by disciples of The Hard Left, so anything that exposes non-whites and non-males to criticism for an evil as horrific as this has to be set on fire, stuffed in a garbage can, and discarded along the railroad tracks where no one will ever hear of it. You see, this is only wrong if a white male does it.
It is very vile, very evil. As I said when you first wrote about it, I'm happy to pull any trigger, push any button, trip any lever, if volunteers are hard to find. As a man with two wonderful daughters I love beyond words, I'd have literally gone insane over this.
I am usually not in favor of the death penalty. Two reasons, because errors are permanent, and because I cannot see myself able to pull the switch.
Like br549, I could in this case. Not because of anyone's race, but because the crime shows a lack of humanity.

br - I'm with you man. This crime has made me crazy and enraged at a society that would allow it to happen in the first place. Two beautiful young people were deprived of their dignity and life to satisfy the urges of monsters.
