Your hubbie is pretty lame on gender issues, so your best blog strategy is probably to ignore him.
I'd like to make a somewhat facetious comment about it being about the boobies and about gender issues. What primarily male cancers receive the attention that breast cancer does? Lance Armstrong has been the spokesman for testicular cancer - but where's the postage stamp? Can you imagine a postage stamp with the shadowed outline of a man giving himself a self exam (he types chuckling)? I don't mean to make light of breast cancer (or any cancer for that matter) at all - my grandmother died from breast cancer. But where are the ribbons, the months of remeberance, or marathons for men who have died or survived colon cancer or prostrate cancer? Oh that's right we're the appendix of humanity.
